New Moon Girl Media’s Fall/Winter 2013-14 Internships
Our interns are truly critical in the work they do to create and promote our safe social network and girl-edited magazine. An internship with us gives students the opportunity to work with girl and adult editors and online marketers to foster creative self-expression in girls ages 8+ worldwide. Interns have a flexible schedule, work from home, and gain valuable real-world experience in the rapidly changing media business. We are a small company, and have very specific needs from our interns.

Planned Parenthood of Mississippi
Public Policy Internships: (2 available, located in Hattiesburg)
The public policy intern will organize and recruit activists, plan events, and assist staff on public policy issues. Hours are flexible but 12-15 hours a week are required. This is a paid internship.

This internship is great for someone interested in women’s issues and plans to have a career in non-profit agencies, politics, public policy, public affairs, or grassroots organizing. Qualified candidates would be committed to the mission of Planned Parenthood, enthusiastic, proficient in Microsoft office applications, well spoken, and have a willingness to learn.

Availability for multiple semesters preferred.
