Kaitlyn Armstrong, Ph.D.

Instructional Assistant Professor of Health, Exercise Science, & Recreation Management

Dr. Armstrong earned a masters degree in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi and a Ph.D. In Health and Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from the University of Mississippi conducting research on the menstrual cycle. Her research explores how hormonal fluctuations across the menstrual cycle impact function and injury risk. Dr. Armstrong is part of the Human Movement and High Performance lab as well as the National Center for Tactical Readiness.
