Dolly Day of Service

The Center for Community Engagement and the Sarah Isom Center for Women and Gender Studies are coordinating a Dolly Day of Service on 9/25 for the Oxford area. We plan to encourage people to perform some act of service/charity on that day. To that end. we will be sharing and encouraging local non-profits to share opportunities for people to support them, either through acts or donations, on that day.

The day will end with a screening of Steel Magnolias at 7 pm in Lamar Hall on campus.  While the screening will be free, we are encouraging people to either bring children’s books, food for Grove Grocery, and/or donate to the OHS/LCHS music programs.
