Courtney Roper, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of BioMolecular Sciences
Dr. Courtney Roper is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Toxicology in the BioMolecular Sciences Department at the University of Mississippi’s School of Pharmacy, where she started her laboratory focused on understanding the complex mixtures of air pollution using environmental chemistry and developmental toxicology techniques. She received her doctorate in Molecular Toxicology from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Public Health and was a National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences postdoctoral fellow at Oregon State University in the Environmental and Molecular Toxicology Department. She is an author on over 25 peer-reviewed publications and 2 textbook chapters, as well as a recipient of over 15 regional, national, and international awards.
