Kexin Xiang, PH.D.

Instructional Assistant Professor of Marketing

Kexin Xiang is an Instructional Assistant Professor of Marketing at the School of Business Administration, University of Mississippi. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Marketing from the University of Mississippi, an M.S. degree in Information Management and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Data Science from Syracuse University, and a B.S. degree in Business from Indiana University. She is interested in empirical marketing strategy with a particular focus on marketing-finance interface and female leadership in top management teams. Her research has been published in the Journal of Business Research and Review of Managerial Science. She has taught several courses related to marketing principles, retailing, and analytics at the undergraduate level. Before joining Ole Miss, she worked for Ernst & Young’s Tax Technology and Transformation group.

Gender Studies -Related Research Interests:  the influence of female leadership within top management teams and its effects on organizational outcomes. This entails examining how the presence of women in leadership roles at the highest levels of management influences various aspects of organizational performance, such as financial performance, innovation, employee and customer satisfaction, corporate social responsibility, and overall organizational effectiveness.
